Oh my, I self-mushed

Vexen has changed... as far as I remember I've never cried. Except once when Ia'Kat was unhappy and had some very unlucky things happen to him. So that's once... in 10 years of living memories.

I've been aware that certain types of emotions in films can make me "want" to cry. Like... Forest Gump, Edward Scissorhands ("run..."), Titanic (yep).

But I rewatched the first 2 hours of Stephen King's The Stand, and I was actually crying at every hint of emotion, especially concerning death of loved ones. Sometimes just some of the scenes of endless motionless cars, filled with dead bodies all along all the highways, was causing me to cry! Just subtle tears.

There was one scene where the naive, and intensely good-hearted deaf-mute was attacked, and he shot his attacker, who slumped to the floor. The deaf-mute just let out this scream of anguish that made me cry :-)

So now I'm officially all girly!

Perhaps I'm getting some emotions back!

I know whose fault it is! It's Ia'Kat's fault, and Empiress' fault, these two special people have mushed me over the last 2 years!

I have a friends page for both of them on my friends page

OK... a much more interesting update than my last one so far!

My Dad emailed me recently... they have access now. Maybe this means I'll communicate with him more than a few times per year.

Also, The Optimist is back online, for those who know who he is.

No-one knows who he is...

... for he is a mouse of mystery...

I still don't get how he can be your brother when you're a wiggy and therefore condensed out of fluff...

But Jeff in, like, '94, not now, he's lost quite a bit of weight since then... :o(

.... "Sometimes you can still catch me dancing in it", complete with murry toys-with-your-emotions Danny Elfman soundtrackynesseses?

Aww, it's nice to know I've been a worthwhile influence on someone I luv. Nicest thing I''ve read in ages, must watch The Stand again at some point, not now tho, could write a novel in the time it takes to watch!

if you think the movie is good, the book is GREAT. It is a whopper of a book though, so could take a bit longer than a 4-hour movie. =P
