I attempted to sleep, but failed miserably. My legs hurt from football - in particular, inner thighs, none of the excercises I do "do" those. I hope I can walk tomorrow!

Drink a lot of water, take some aspirin, get a massage (or take a warm bath with Epsom salts), and then give your legs some time to recuperate. You should be fine in a day or two. :) Rumor has it that Arnica Montana homeopathic gel is good for sore muscles, too, if you want to give that a try.

Damn I didn't stretch at all before or afterwards. Because it was just fun with my housemates, I never clicked that it was also excercise. Right, from now on you're my coach!

OK, I did drink lots of water.

But... I don't have any aspirin, and wouldn't take them if I did! I did use both arms to get me up from bed though! (I just have a double mattress on the floor). Normally I jump up! Today I felt like an old person and wedged myself up bit by bit! Then I thought "I should have stretched..." and did so... a mere 13 hours late. Ah well! Is not too bad!

I don't like painkillers, 'cos my legs hurt for a reason! I like to soldier on, and using chemicals to help are cheating! I never take tummy medicine, cold remedies, headache pills, nothing... which is a bit extreme and probably a bit silly, but I can get on no matter what ache or pain I have! rarrr

I can't do what Stepliana can do, no matter how much I stretch!

I did some *exercise* (just lunges, really) for a Commercial Acting class years ago, making a 'commercial' for a fitness video. I didn't warm up or stretch either and my legs were SO SORE the next day!!!

Aspirin: Uh, sometimes people need it in order to be able to keep soldiering on! Unless you have ulcers or some bleeding condition, it's not gonna kill ya. ;) I used to be able to get along without taking anything, but only in my 20's. I still don't really like taking a lot of stuff or relying on any pills, but sometimes they help more than they hurt.

Stepliana is the user who made the icon-- not the actual dancer in the picture! *L* I probably couldn't do that anymore either, but maybe a long time ago. :) If I'm really warmed up and feeling good, I can still do back bends and the splits. Ergo, the benefits of yoga. :D

I find it strange the people doing the commercial didn't tell you to warm up! Seems like it's something they should know about!

Aspirin: Oh no, you're warning me about post-20s life... *sticks head in sand*

Age: Ha ha. Very funny. >:Þ All I have to say is, you'd better make good use of your youth and enjoy it now!!!! Oh, and do what you can to keep yourself healthy so you'll still be able to do most things in your 30's without a lot of help from pharmaceuticals. ;)

Yoga: Yep. And Pilates. So I guess that makes it Yolates, or ... Piloga. Hee hee.
