Slavery

The primary role of slaves, economics and voodoo in abolition of slavery

Voodoo priests organized several slave revolts, English economics dictated the end of support for the slave trade... did monotheism play a role in abolition? Emancipation came firstly through slave revolts, and then finally through large scale military and beaurocratic opposition to the slave trade, what made these forces possible? And for those who remained slaves, which forces relieved or increased their suffering? I look at factors that brought the slave trade to an end and conclude that economic forces were the most potent.

Yes but did these religios do? BothIslamad Christianty especially i Africa?

They ecouraged slavery ,the Christian Religions made excuses forallowig that type of barbaric slavery saying itwas God's will or Jesus's will, saying those particular priest are in hell now is utterrubbishinthe final analyses because most ofWester Europe ad especailly the USA has the blood of a slave which was shed to build or modernise this cities.

Also the slavery of wome has been justiyfied by these same relgions as well. Millions of wome and men where burnt by these religons (And I have no doubt some women are still burnt alive in secret by these relgion, Islam still burn women i public!!!!!!!!!) because they could heal people whe the stupid male doctors doctors of the daycould't heal people properly (bleed the patient more ,only works very little of the time, boys) knew nothing of herbs and other vegetation which could heal the sick and even the dying,saw these women as competiton and simply decided to liquidate them,religious leaders needing to instill fear in the masses and also wanting to control female sexuality,beauty, and itelligence decided that this would be a good thing and burnt, hung and tortured lot sof innocent women to death to establish power over them and the masses.

I so look forward to the day womankind fially wakesup and realises who threw her into her subserviant stae and for once , doesn't forgive but simply takes pure uadultered vengance on these priests and these religions

Thomas Paine

Hey Vexen, how's it goin?

{Quote;Vexen/}It was the atheist Thomas Paine (1737-1809), one of the "founding fathers" of the United States, who enshrined the first American anti-slavery law. {Unquote/}

Deist. Not Atheist.
You may wish to fix that.
