"Ejaculation Study Confirmed
A large study by the National Cancer Institute in the US has found that frequent ejaculation - either through sexual intercourse, masturbation or nocturnal emissions - protects men against prostate cancer, backing the result of an Australian study reported by New Scientist last year (19 July, p15)."

"Revenge is Sweet" psychology article
"Do animals take revenge?"
"According to Stephen Beckerman, an anthropologist at Penn State University USA, vengeful behaviour is widespread in the animal kingdom. Blue-footed boobies (a type of bird), elephant seals, side-stripped jackals and European moorhens are all known as 'punishers' - they response to injuries by attacking those animals who hurt them. When it comes to primate, revenge gets more subtle - the injured individual may go for the relatives or allies of the guilty partry, instead. But the point is the same; the behaviour acts as a negative reinforcement, forcing the attacker not to damage the victim any further"

What do Martians Look like?

Apparently a really good book on the potential biology of alien life including gas-life, etc, that normal people wouldn't often be able to imagine and that we would find very difficult to recognize as life. (I.e., self-replicating living electromagnetic life). No doubt will include Gaia Hypothesis material.

Will link this from old, old page "Life on other planets".

Van hire?
I want to move ALL my stuff, if possible, from my house to my accomodation at work, and move out of my London house. This'll save me quite a lot of money.

Option 1: Storage with a company who pick up my stuff with a van. Easy, but will still be paying monthly storage fees *and* not have access to some stuff.

Option 2: Move all my stuff. Means I need a van, and a driver, to go from London to Dorset.

Can anyone help with the van or driver part? Needs to be ASAP, within 3/4 weeks.
