This week I've been driving a Chrysler Voyager, 2.8 automatic, complete with heated seats, very clever windscreen wipers, and some serious amount of all-round cushioning. It was like driving a futuristic space-ship made of sponge. First time I'd driven automatic. My biggest problem was the inertia: when I take my foot off the accelerator, I prefer to slow down not to magically slide along the road. Listening To: "This corrosion" by Sisters of Mercy
