Don't you realize you have vastly growing fundamentalist Muslim culture growing in your country??? You know, the fanatical, violent types??? They are setting up base in your country ... maybe it's time to get conservative and tough on that one! For it is not the "trash culture" you are speaking about that will be your total destruction ... it will be when the muslims take your country over and rule it with "muslim law/religion." Their plan is to take over every country in the world (won't happen, but they are trying). And, remember, they hate the Jews/Christians the most ... so, maybe, you won't have to worry too much because you are neither, but you will be forced to "convert" to the muslim religion. And you thought us "born-again Christians" were bad :>:>:> Do you ever stop and think why the Jews/Christians are the muslims number one target??? It's because they are controlled by Satan in their Satan-driven false religion. Satan is out to destroy the Jews/Christians because we are the true people of the one and only true God. And, Satan feels if he wipes us off the earth, he wins. And, gee, you are helping him out by downing Christianity. You need to really read the Bible and get to know God, most importantly, and also to realize how you are falling into Satan's plan also. As God says in the Bible, "You can only serve ONE master ... God or Satan." There is not any "in between." You are either for God or against Him. If you are not for God ... then you are serving Satan. SORRY! YOU ARE! I know, you think I'm nuts, stupid, delusional and uneducated. Well, I'm none of the above. I'm praying for you!

Do you know that there are a few more (around 100,000 give or take the odd 1000) religions out there?
Most of which are older than Christianity, by the way.
The Christian World View is but one, there are many problems with Organised Religion, which is why so many people are seeking their own spiritual truths.
Religious Intolerance has caused more atrocities in history than anything else, if you try to dictate that your faith is reight and all others are wrong, you are actively supporting these murders.
Many people have a sipritual hole inside them, however. This hole, a need for something to believe in, generates the trash culture of gangland, football fanaticism & hooliganism, all 'tribal' issues - the need to belong to something.

Old Religions: Most religious practices are older than Christianity, but most actual religions are new. Buddhism, Hinduism, animism, native American religions, Mithraism, Zoroastrianism and Judaism are all older than Christianity, but most religions themselves are new, all religions just use the practices of old religions and put a slightly new spin on them. Need to Belong: http://www.dpjs.co.uk/needfordogma.htmlThe human need for dogma, how this has been shown to have an important genetic factor, and how this psychological confusion results in religious and pseudo-religious behaviour.

I often wonder why there is such a big drinking culture within the UK? Sometimes i think that it might be because (please don't laugh at this) that the British on the whole are introverts and so people often get their feelings trapped up inside of themselves, lack of expression if you like. Because British people lack expression their often percieved to be boring, possibly even by themselves. Maybe thats why the British drink so much, to make things more interesting.
I belive that the British are deep thinkers, again because their intoverts, giving rise to a high level of creativity (My intention here is not to blow the British trumpet, i'm just stating my thoughts).
I like your ideas about the British being innately conservative, because of their levels of sinicism, and also the problems with the British youth.
I find it slightly ironic that i don't belive this article could have been written by, say, an American about America (in general). Modest and sinical
