What? not one person knows the origins of their beliefs?
Very scary to see the plummeting of the believers. Too bad they don't learn how the Creator speaks to everyone (via dreams and visions, and that's scriptural). The difficulty of course is that very few people in western societies know how dreams work, and indigenous societies which do and know God, don't seem to do a lot with what they learn from them.
To put it simply, you need the WORDS describing the dream. Then you can find the meanings within the words, plays on words, homonyms, synonyms, anagrams etc. Once you HEAR the words, or much better READ them, you will be able to start the process of applying logic to the analogies. More available on this at www.pacificway.org and a course coming soon.
Of course working with them requires self-discipline, and the biggest part of that is actually writing them down. Most people are too lazy, they have no idea of the gold nuggets their dreams contain.
Belief in a Creator has nothing to do with the politics of a belief (religion), the rites and rituals, or the dogma and doctrines, or even where you go to learn about how our Living God speaks to us. Everything that is movable or moving in Creation is God. That Source has existed forever, as you can find by learning how dreams and prophecies work, and realizing that the prophecies of the End Time have already begun to unfold. (They will all unfold within the next generation.)
The most recent War in Iraq was foretold in the Book of Enoch 2300 years ago... along with the demise of the Roman church due in about 10 years due to the sexual abuses by clergy. (The prophecy seems to indicate it is utterly destroyed or in other words all its assets sold off to pay for the class action suit against it.)
