Cradle of Filth
|
Hail to gothic blackened extreme metallers "Cradle of Filth" for their nods to "Hellraiser". The albums "Midian" and "Nympetamine" don't just have quotes from the movies, but better, they actually have several nice speeches from Doug Bradley{actor whom plays "Pinhead"} as intro's,interludes, outro's to songs. they actually hired him to do in his Pinhead voice great speeches they wrote as part of their lyrics. Not only that but they make referance to Cenobites in a few songs.
songs from "Midian"
Dougs Quotes{in Pinhead voice} on Cradle Of Filth albums: ""We've woven hearts a thorn arbour Left tear streaked reason upon the shore And bereft of compass, star or more Set out for this World's end Few at the prow, most slave below Painting coal a perfect gold But for all it's worth, the engines slow Dead in the brine again Come cabin fever, sodomy on the bounty Prey to phallus seas That hiss and foam to douse disease A storm roars on the way Blacker than the Ace of Rapes Dealt out by Death in darkwood glades Our Ship of Fools, all boards handmade Sinks, dashed by seismic waves" TAKEN FROM "DEATH MAGICK FOR ADEPTS"
""The Moon, she hangs like a cruel portrait soft winds whisper the bidding of trees as this tragedy starts with a shattered glass heart and the Midnightmare trampling of dreams But no, no tears please Fear and pain may accompany Death But it is desire that shepherds it's certainty as We shall see..." TAKEN FROM "HER GHOST IN THE FOG"
""Oh, sweet Midian I burn for thee at heart Don't despair me Come bare me on wings of graveyard robbed leather To where pleasure rings deep secrets In spurts after dark..." * TAKEN FROM "TORTURED SOUL ASYLUM"
songs from COF album-"Nymphetamine=
Glory and praise to thee in all the steeps Of Heaven where thou didst reign, and in the deeps Of Hell where fallen thy dream, silently.
[From "Les Litanies de Satan"]" TAKEN FROM "SATYRIASES"
"Forgive the day's Last serenades Her skies they bruise like Nordic women Deep crimson stains That Death would claim His robes of office swim in;
;For on and in they spread her wide That seraph bride The Devil's pride Shalt soon avenge with swift reprise" TAKEN FROM "SWANSONG FOR A RAVEN"
"{along w/other vioces chanting} Ea,Ea,Cthtulu fatogen" over and over again for a about a minute, as the intro to the song "Mother of Abominations".
The following is a verse from COF's song "Tortures Soul Asylum" that mentions the word Cenobite "Exhuming the moon Through the bars in My room The sooner the bitter pills swallowed are through... But no Aphrodites, Genotypes, Demonarchetypes, No Cenobites rise to clame me from you" Album="Midian"
"Thou shall not bow down before any graven images"-Pinhead. Hail Satan: Bill Baker

Mortician
|
The death metal band "Mortician" has a song called "Hell On Earth" about the Hellraiser movies. Mortician-'hell on earth' from the album-'Zombie Apocalypse' "5. Hell on Earth
Box of terror Pain or pleasure Onep the door Death and torture
Minions of Hell Enter the world Torment begins Hooks tear the skin
Ripping the flesh Slow brutal death Endless screaming Torn to pieces"
The above song opens with a sound sample about a minute or two in length from the first Hellraiser movie, it's been awhile since I listened to it or watched the first Hellraiser movie{even though they are my fave movies and I have all of them except for the newest one-"deaders"},so I will try to remmebr what I can; "{Kirsty Cotton}Leave me alone, you can...ah...go to hell {female Cenobite}we can't,not alone. {either pinhead or a cenobite, not sure which}You opened the box, it summoned us, we came, now you must come w/us,taste our treaures {cenobite}moan.... {Kirsty}Wait... you know Frank Cotton, he escaped you I can take you to him... {Pinhead}Assuming he had escaped us, what has that got to do w/you... {Kirsty}you can take him back instead of me... {female cenobite}perhaps, but if you cheat {Pinhead}we'll tear your soul apart"
and the song ends w/this outro sample from the first Hellraiser movie, again, been awhile-I'll recall what I can; "{Pinhead}Fraaank {Frank Cotton to Kirsty}you set me up up Bitch {Pinhead to Kirsty}This isn't for your eyes ~sounds of chains, tearing sounds~, {Frank}Jesus Wept ~frank screaming in pain as he's torn apart~"
That's all I got for now.
"Thou shall not bow down before any graven images"-Pinhead
Hail Bill Baker

Re: Looking for another song...
|
"Don't Look at Me" is by Blind Vision (Andreas Froese). I have the German 12"; looks like it's released by NewZone, published by ICM/Hanseatic, though it also says "Music from Technoclub". No copyright, but I could swear this came out c. 1991.
(Knew I had this in my collection somewhere, but couldn't recall the artist , and all my vinyl is organized by artist. A Google search for 'techno "Don't Look at me" "Hellraiser" samples 12" remix' brought me here, which still didn't give me the artist, but Yahoo's first hit got me to some guy's "Top 200 Sample Sources" list, and there is was...Blind Vision. Just sayin, don't always rely on Google.)
