What applications do you have open right now?

On your PC, what are the titles of all your open applications?

This is like... a very boring nightshift so I'm hoping other people are doing more interesting stuff than me. I have:

* Drafts - MS Outlook
* YahooIM - friend#1
* "rumours gossip" Google search
* ArmyNet logon
* "Rumours" MS Outlook document
* "Social Weapons - teen advise column"
* YahooIM - friend#2

(Keeping anonymonity of YahooIM users)

I have:

*3xMSN Windows (g/f, sister, friend)
*14xInternet Explorer, some of which are also tabbed. Mostly BBC news, LJ, eBay and email
*Media Player, playing Misnomer - Target:London
*My Documents...
*Jasc Paint Shop Pro
*STEAM

Let's see...

Outlook + 3 emails
2 Firefox with a total of four tabs open
Just closed Word

  • Firefox
    • Gmail
    • ebay
    • LJ
    • Den of Angels

  • Gaim (yes, I am talking in all of these simultaneously)
    • AIM: RainbowSheltie - ongoing RP session with Perseus/Xian/Victoria
    • AIM: Effigy - ongoing RP session with Marius/Corpselight
    • AIM: ViolentViolet - ongoing RP session with Eric/Vincent
    • AIM chat room: running RP session with Effigy and ViolentViolet (cast of my dolls plus Corpselight and Vincent)
    • AIM x2: chat with other doll folk r.e. commissions
    • MSN: normal chat with a friend

And that's it. Because my laptop harddrive is dead, and I've been running it off the Ubuntu Live CD for over a month now. So I just stick with the very basics; Firefox and Gaim. If I'm doing anything else, I borrow the Mac for a few minutes.

Let's see now..

- Mozilla Firefox (current window)
- Trillian - Friends
- Adobe Reader - [Agile Web Development with Rails.pdf]
- Xfire - (Friend)
- Mozilla Thunderbird - Inbox
- radrails (Folder)
- RadRails
- CMD (WEBrick Server)
- Internet Explorer - localhost:3000 - Rails Test

advise -> advice

*puts away her pedant hat*

Well if you want to be pedantic... try this:

* I quoted the title of the webpage, therefore, I could have perfectly right in saying that I was visiting a website called "teen advise", and I duly quoted the title however wrong it was.

But more importantly:

Know that when I am rich and famouser, I want to employ a pendantist to correct and poke me across the hundreds of texts I've written.

And much much much less importantly... *sly whisper* Thanks for pointing out the typo */sly whisper*

Glad you're here by the way
