Lifestyle change...
At the moment I am not writing much, nor reading much... I am back at 'normal' work after many months of hard work in London, and, we are having probs with our home PC and home network. And I'm having a break from doing stuff.

"Mythil's new journal"

If you have spare time, I suggest you read "Silverwing" (if you haven't already). I just finished the trilogy, very entertaining.

Re: "Mythil's new journal"

Next to my bed, I have a small black cabinet with two open shelves. The middle shelf is my "books to read" shelf. At the moment, the shelf is full!

But tell me a little about the Silverwing trilogy, and if I can learn something from it and perhaps use it (rather than just enjoy it), I'll consider it!

Books and weapons in the war against ignorance... I don't indulge in mere enjoyable reading, much.

Re: "Mythil's new journal"

Well, silverwing, the first book, is a children's book. But don't put it down because of that. The one thing I have learned from children's books, is that the villains are far more.. villains. Adult villains normally equate what they do with some sort of dream for a new world, a political stance, or because of money or love. Villains in children's books, especially Silverwing, are quiet different. They do things to survive, and not because they are "evil", however the other side sees it.

It has one of the best "bad guys" in a book so far. "Goth", the South American Vampyrum Spectrum bat (my favorite bat). And, well, I don't want to ruin much for you if you do decide to read it. It's only about 270 pages long.
