Nothing is New: Religions Evolve

"Nothing New: Religions Evolve From Previous Religions" by Vexen Crabtree (2007)

Well, there's not much to say to all this except: FAIL.
Dawkins is a moron, you shouldn't listen to his nonsense.
Get a haircut, and get a real job..

Forgive if I said this before. I am getting old and forgetful.

Old joke. Scientists develop world's most sophisticated computer. Ask world leaders to ask it the first question. Question offered is: "Is there a God?" After days of smoking circuits, leaders are gathered to hear the answer.

Answer: "THERE IS NOW!"

My point, as humans approach the so-called Singularity (see THE SINGULARITY IS NEAR by Ray Kurzeill), when humans are expected to involve into a new species of superbeings (if we don't destroy ourselves first), the new beings will appear as Gods to the "old fashioned" mortal humans.

So we are inventing and becoming our own Gods. It's up to us to make them good ones and not evil ones (as the old imaginary gods clearly were).

Haven't visited you for a while. As I am getting older this may be the last time. Who knows?

Bring it on!
