Memory Meme

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. Anything you want, good or bad. When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised about what people remember about you

My main memories are of discussions over Humanism.

I remember! We should get a drink sometime and expand our reportoirre (sp?)!

You in the Dev, wearing swirly coloured tights and a black skirt, all squee and bouncy and just so full of energy and wonder :)

Hey cool I remember that night I think I was going to Torture Garden, my cherished memory of you is years later sometime, but I don't remember any details. You're a wise person to talk to!

Thank you! That's a lovely thing to say :)

I was being modest with the compliments too :-)

Probably on your wedding day standing outside the registry office. On the way there we reckoned that you'd be wearing the dress rather than the suit, so we were bemused we were wrong but it was you that was wearing white...

:-)

That would be funny too, and certainly would have been a wedding the staff at the Town Hall would remember!

I am still preparing a webpage on the former question... but to launch it, I have to admit publically what my job is! As it isn't public, I'm going to screen your comment!

Wow, I didn't realise you were actually speechless about furry! That truly must have been a strange day for you :-)

*hugs*

lots of things, but one of the ones that meant the most:

The night Kekhmet kitty passed on. I woke to find she'd gone, and came out into the hallway by the kitchen and it happened you'd come downstairs for something. and I said to you "she's gone" and you hugged me and that was exactly what I needed right then, not not be alone and the only one awake in the house at that moment. Thank you.

Hey thanks for having such a nice memory of me :-)

Slimelight years ago, by yellow toilets we had chat of something worthwhile which has passed my mind. You were handsome.

I miss Slimelight, and miss 'innocent' years there! now I am more jaded (capital n doesn't work on this keyboard, strangely, excuse the poor grammar!).

I'll be back in London one year!

A passing drink and hello in London, I think you had an undercut at the time.

Must have been four years ago! Yikes

Well, let's see. 1991, the Ukraine. USSR collapsing around us like a cheaply-built concrete housing block, or maybe it was the other way round. We were there to get intel on "T"; I'm sure you remember the tangle that became. Anyway, we had to make a blind drop in Kiev, and you slipped me the docs in a paper cone of roasted parsnips from a street-stall, your face conspicuously clean among the crowd. I don't know, somehow the memory of that just stands out. 2 days later we were on a speedboat in the Mediterranean.

At least, I think that was you.

Hey, we should meet up some time so I have a real memory to relate. :P

Surely we've met!!!!! How can we not have??? That makes no sense!

When you walked into the Purple Turtle with a shaved head, you smiled at me with amazing warmth.

Awww, that's because I fancied you :-)

When you shaved all your hair off. And when you appeared in Bizarre. That was bizarre.

I've had short hair ever since then :-(

Most my memories of you consist of missing chances to talk to you!

Yeah, there's that too. I don't think I have ever managed to meet you in person!

Nah I'm sure we've met, just only ever briefly! Or more frequently, across a room!

Yeah I remember! I feel out-of-contact in recent years, with most my friends. Living in Germany and away from London, and doing field work for a year in total...

i doubt people remembers me..what i have is just people drifting away..not talking much..not interested in meeting up..

well i've enjoyed and misses your company~

I've always liked that photo! I haven't been around London for years, I'll be back at some point!

Here's two for the price of one :)

1. Making horrendous (but tasty) cocktails at your wedding reception at the Penderel's Oak.

2. Boggling at your diet of tesco value tinned spaghetti and bread at U of H. Oh, and I think you had this program on your computer that you'd written to keep all the information on your sites up to date or search it or something.

1. Wow, yeah I think I remember some of those! I didn't encourage you...

2. I was skint! Don't forget the weetabix.

2. Hey, that's Ziggy!! Ziggy is awesomely useful now, it writes all the Bibliographies for the bottom of my pages, based on its knowledge of what pages use quotes from which books... its got a text-editor built in now, and next year, I will make it so that it contains template pages for each site, and will write in content from its database straight into .html pages.

Ziggy says there's a 78.3% chance that it's a reference to Quantum Leap? :)

I remember coming across your website when I was first researching Satanism.

We've actually never spoken, and I'm not reposting this-I've done it before & apparently either no one cares or no one reads my rare posts.

I read all posts... I've just been offline a lot and am online only now due to a very slow and intermittent satellite link. Be patient!
