Do you have an inability to see inconsistencies in your view?

But then you say that dogma is fine: "With the lack of religion there is a void. People need dogma; they need to be told what is what.............Satanism will continue to fill that void in people's little hearts. It allows one to make strong, dominant, dogmatic statements."

So basically you believe that buddhism is weak because it is dogmatic and satanism is strong because it is dogmatic. Mmmmm.

Highlights the fact that emotional and intellectual dogma are different things. Satanism advocates dogma in that you /know/ what the dogmatic statements are, and why they are used, and uses them for their emotional affect. Most religions genuinely believe that their fantasy and domatic beliefs are real.

Anton LaVey quote on that page reads:

"It is one thing to accept something intellectually, but to accept the same thing emotionally is an entirely different matter. The one need that psychiatry cannot fill is man's inherent need for emotionalising through dogma. Man needs ceremony and ritual, fantasy and enchantment. Anton LaVey : Women

I think that for the time, LaVey's thoughts were a huge breakthrough on most things including his thought on women,
sure it might be dated in a slight degree, but then again we cannot expect him to have been on the spot considering he was in the 50's era, but other that I think he was a great man, I think all that stuff Zeena LaVey is saying is just because Dr LaVey didn't want to give her the Church of Satan (of which I am a member). Only in the ninety's women started getting the right amount of respect thanks to people like Kurt Cobain and Eddie Vedder, and also in the new millenium (well Satanically not the new stage of development as it is not the new AGE). Although we also have to look at what is happening in the new millenium : People like Kid Rock are, if you read between the lines, downright sexist, we need someone with a huge Satanic point of view to step out and stamp these people out before most people go back to their sexist ways again, which is definetly not a Satanic thing!
