couldn't sleep, but didn't know the time nor what it was that woke me. Saw this entry and came to realize you were speaking to me. I dread waking in the middle of the night because I fear being cognitive during the witching hour.
I work for the city of Los Angeles and after so many years learned that laziness can bring harmony, but perhaps I'm mixing up the term passiveness with laziness. Didn't know where you were going with this, and I still have look up the definition for "whinge", but I like your perspective on things and felt impelled to dig into you lj profile, among other social sites you solicit.
hoping I can learn from the surfing experience you provide as I see your transition from computer aficionado to philosopher/writer as a path I would like to take myself.
