I found your website interesting.. I am writing a paper on different cultures/religions reasonings, meanings, and backgrounds on animal sacrifice. I just wanted to point out why Christians no longer participate in animal sacrifice.. I know that you are not endorsing this religion, but the historical and spiritual reasoning is unique to cultures that still participate. In the Old Testament, Animal Sacrifice had a two-fold purpose- it served as a sort of "scapegoat" for sins, since all sins needed to be punished by death. The animal was killed as a type of asking for forgiveness from God. Different animals were killed depending on where a person was in a social status.. Kings would offer rams, merchants a goat or lamb, and the poor either a pair of birds. In the very poor's case, even a small measure of flour was acceptable, because it was the best they could offer. The other purpose of animal sacrifice in the Old Testament was the provide the priests with food and skins for clothing. It was a way God provided for his servants. In the New Testament, after Jesus was crucified, animal sacrifice was no longer necessary, because he has paid the price of sin...Because he was the son of God in human form, his innocent death erased the practice of animal sacrifice. It was no longer necessary.

Satanic Sacrifice?

Hello out there. I am leaving a little info on my killing of animals for the sake of diversity, and remember these are my opinions only.
I know that I am an animal, one who derives nutrients from both plants and animals. Our ancestors hunted and later raised animals for food so animal killing goes with our speicies. Today most people get their meat from factory farms where animals live in horrible conditions, and are plainly tortured for finacial gain. In the u.s. where I live bovines are dehorned and pigs castrated all without any painkillers. I hate this, and it disgusts me more than most things, I prefer to kill my own meat. I enjoy hunting and its refreshing to know that these wild animals actually had a life before being harvested. When I cannot hunt I will Kill my own livestock. To be in such close contact with somthing your killing is an emotional thing. killing for me then has evolved into a bit of a ritual.
the animal must be of best health and is bathed with a mild shampoo a few hours prior to slaughter. when they are dry I will take them far from any others, to keep from frightening them. If the animal is small enough I will hold it, if its large I will have a friend(s) help me. (I find it very importent that the animal endures minimal stress, for the sake of the animal and for quality of the meat.)I use the "Kosher" method of slaughter as it a very fast way of dispaching a mammal. I have great respect for the animals I kill, not only do they share a percentage of my DNA, they are providing food for my body.
When people hear anything like this they are often disgusted, afterall they dont think about where their meat comes from. (and with the attitudes of some you would think that meat grows on trees, like a cherry)
My point would be if one is Satanic, and worships the self, would killing an animal to feed yourself be satanic sacrifice/slaughter if done with ritual and respect?
