The Ancient Of Nights

The Ancient Of Nights

When we learn love and desire, Leviathan urges,
as we make ourselves strong,

No It makes us weaker it opens chinks in our emotional armour, but Frankly I would rather have this weakness as without passion we are very little of any interest.

not to mention exstinct.

Love and desire are parts of a healthy mental state, without them our "emotional armour" merely makes up and covers over; it is a sign that something is broken or breaking.

Although healing can be painful, (and yes I agree, the acceptance of passion is one of the things inherent to our worth), the end result is a stronger whole that doesn't need that kind of scar-tissue emotional armour.

Psychobabble!

love lust and strenght.

Would it not be reasonable to asumme that had we not things like love lust and desier our emotional armour would have evolved differently... had the human race evolved which it probably wouldn't have.

With whatever would have been on the other side of the emotional armour being stronger should anything get past the armour then mankind would be stronger but...

That said Given the choice between Strenght and happieness I would chose to be happy and I think that weakness leads to much happyness.
