I'm sure by now you've either married her or forgotten her. I know from fact that it takes time, but true love sometimes happens when you let the one you love go to another who can love him/her the way he/she needs. God, I still miss my ex, but at least I know he's happy. With someone else, that is. But I'm happy anyway. That's true love mon ami!

I have definately not forgotten her, it still breaks my heart and makes me upset to think of things past. I suspect she's unhappy, she's certainly busy. I think she keeps busy in order to ignore her situation in life. (Which isn't bad, or dangerous, it is good, but it is not *her*). We were engaged but called it off.

But I've moved on, I have a new girlfriend, it's been years. That's life, melancholy and happiness all at once, all the time.
