Jesus did not exist

"Jesus Did Not Exist" by Vexen Crabtree

God is alive

It's tough to find out where the truth is. I mean a liar could tell me his opponant is lying and I would be lost without evidence. People reject God because of lies. But here are some truths.
1) I was once addicted to porn. No longer. How? Prayer. I tried for 14 years, until I started praying.
2) I didn't have money to live on my own, though I was on my own. For 30 days, God provided food for me through people and circumstances. God loves me.
3) I had a spider bite on my leg when I was working in Jamaica for 2 weeks. I started to pray that it would heal, and it did. I was skeptical and so I stopped praying... and I had to go to the hospital because it got so bad. I have the scar as a reminder of the power of prayer, and the dangers of believing a lie.

Are these events imaginary? Am I a liar? If there were any other way to be free from porn, then I have all ready tried it, even calling out to other gods and Muhammad. If I am a liar, then so are those who were with and researched Jesus Christ as found in the Bible. If I am not a liar, then neither are they, because their words worked in my life.
4) Last week my mom overdosed on sleeping pills. I prayed for her to be healed in the name of Jesus. She was out of the hospital the next day. God heals us of our hurts.

God loves us, and would rather die then destroy us. He has all ready done that. Where else will you find that love other than through Jesus Christ?
Steven

So, you perform magic but think that God done it, not you? Why do you assume that? If you believe in magic (and clearly you do - whether you believe that God does it or you do), why do assume that it requires the intervention of a good god? Do you believe magic works even when god isn't secretly doing it for you?

Also, if God wanted to use magic to aid your friend, why did it need *your* help to do it? If God wanted your friend healed, it would heal your friend. If God didn't want your friend to be healed, no amount of praying, persuasion or argument could make God change it's mind! (An omniscient being that knows everything can't exactly lose an argument!)

So, what gives?

Do you have to see it to believe it?

Why has no one mentioned the influence of Satan/Devil? Has it not occurred to those who are against this mythical godman, Jesus, that the reason why many people are so opposed to entertaining any idea of his existence is that it might be due to forces against good, which drive the thoughts of man? Would it harm you to consider such a concept without implying any intervention by what many might perceive as relating to black magic or the like?
I'm guessing that many of you are aethists, all those who don't believe in the existence of a Christ? What then, do you believe? If you choose to believe in the teachings of 'primitive' or supposedly well-founded doctrines that predate Christianity as you know it, what have you got out of it? Do you value the teachings of non-Christian religions over Christian religions even though you admit such similarities between their ideas? Why not disprove the existence of Mithra and Krishna rather than that of Jesus?
Do you view always view GOD as an 'it'- a supernatural being that is unknowable? Perhaps you choose to do so because the concept of personifying a higher being associated to the Christian faith is a concept that is somewhat unsettling or beyond the realm of your understanding. Has it ever occurred to you the existence and power of God over Jesus Christ? For added information for all those who didn't know, this supposedly unknowable God has a name- Jehovah. Does this still make God an 'it'?
I appreciate reading all your arguments and it's an experience to get such an insight into the opinions of people (not all of you) whose beliefs are so different to my own.

To Vexen: Why did you choose to follow Satanism?

God is nothing like magic my friend nothing at all. Its not the person who heals the other with some MAGIC. Prayer is far stronger than any magic you can imagine. I have a question for you. Someone asked you why you decided to pratice Satanism. If you acknowledge satan how can you not acknowledge God and Jesus.

Easy: I am not a Christian, I don't believe that there is a "god" or a "jesus", or even a conscious "satan", there is only nature, and the physical laws.

In those physical laws, all things die.

The symbol of death in Satan.

Voila.

Evolutionist vs Creationist

So these 'physical laws' and 'nature' come from where or what? 'The Big Bang'?
Well, at least we can agree on one thing- all physical things die. Where we differ is our ability to accept the origins and eventual results of all things that exist. Would it be sound to claim that everything in reality was created out of a SPONTANEOUS burst of energy?

Question: where did the energy come from if nothing had existed before existence itself?

What fascinates me is the way that those who are a lot more rooted to thinking in the scientific sense rely ONLY upon quantitative and qualitative analysis in order to understand things. For others, Creation appears to be personified. We can describe it as the “Blueprint of Reality", and which is very much like the very nature of God Almighty Himself, who created our reality. What 'evolutionists' had done was to take Creation (God) and REDUCE its (his) nature down into measurable chunks. Yes, we can measure things and establish truths from those observations. Yes, we can distinguish patterns in the physical behaviour of things and try to make links to others. I don't deny this. But the one question that scientists have trouble with is this word:

Eternity

For something to have ALWAYS existed means it has never had a beginning and will never have an end. Therefore, by human standards is IMmesurable. This defies the law of creation as the scientists know it.

The reason we die is because of Satan who is the Father of Sin. He is the symbol of Death but why should you celebrate that? Why not celebrate the symbol and Givers of the life you have- and I'm not talking about the parents who bore you.

In the whole scheme of things, existence is like a puzzle and each piece represents an aspect of it- some are about the physical things many more are about the spiritual. To gain more answers to the unexplained reasons why, it's better to have more of the central pieces of the puzzle than just the corner pieces. You get to see the bigger picture that way.

you actualy belive in saten the dirty scum that tryes to tempt us away from the LORD! YOU SICKEN ME! not only is god alive but his word is true and also alive
Hedrews 4:12,13 says "The word of God is living and active Sharper than any double edged sword, it penitrates even to divideing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and atitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. everything s layed bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give acount."

Vexen, you my friend are misinformed. For every thing in nature, there is a creator. For every physical law, there is a creator. Nothing, NOTHING, comes about on its own. Every movement you make, every thought you have, is influenced by some physical law. And with ever movement and thought you change the world around you. You must admit this is true, yes? If so, then how is it possible that something much greater than you or could not have created all that we see, simply by his own actions and thoughts? Since you're the one that brought up the laws of physics, please explain how they come about with no reason.

"Nothing, NOTHING, comes about on its own."

So it is not true that everything has a creator, then.

So God created evil huh thats why he either doesnt exist or is evil himself? if i remember correctly Satan tempted Eve in the garden and caused the downfall of men. But God has promised heaven to those who believe in the lord jesus and his sacrifice. He never told us it would be easy. He told us that the straight and narrow path would be hard to travel. But also that the straight and narrow path would lead us to heaven. I know your story. Your an easy person to read my brother. I can look deep down in your heart just by reading your writing. I will be praying for you for God to heal the malice in your heart towards him

Almost anything can come into existance in the astral, from my understanding. That has something to do with it for me. I thing that a god can "Seem" to exist based on how many people believe in it, and that there thoughts, feelings, ect. relating to the deity they believe in can manesfest itself on that plain. It's not to say that the god exists, but that the energy and information pooled together by the people who believe in it can assist people in magic.

What does "in the astral" mean?

First of all, God dose not do magic. Magic is a trick. God works miricales.Second of all there is a verse in the bible which states"ask and it will be given , seek and you will find and knock and the door will be opened." Jesus wants us to come to him.We must come to him in prayer. Have a loving relationship with him. He is like a good friend.I also think the reason god put us on this Earth because we need to bring people like you to him.God gav eus free will becuase he wants us to really love him. He wanted children of him, not just a bunch of robots. God loves you uncoditionally even right now while your saying he dose not exsist
