Was great! I was bit slow and didn't get there until 10:30pm, and actually thought (as the door was closed) that I'd got it all wrong! But I sneaked my way in... to find that I was the only person there! Or... that's what I thought... there were 5 other sneaky goths hiding by the bar, none of which I knew... Anyway, the night picked up to medium-busy within an hour or two, thankfully, and some people I knew turned up. I spent most the night talking to the intriguing and wonderful Sam, who I've not seen for a while except for randomly bumping into her in the Dev briefly when I was meeting Libby. Also Rataxis' brother, Josh, was there. He's been turning up a load, recently. He's genuinely pleasant company. I hope he stays around! He brought two mundane friends, who seemed laid-back enough to cope with all the gothness, but still failed to paradigm-shift, and revealed their fundamentally untermensch character when one of them asked me "Hey, do you have any single female goth friends, because I keep falling flat...". Oh gawd. I said no. I was DRUNK! Drunk drunk! Yay! A large bottle of baileys-esque stuff followed by six alcopops made me a pleasant medium-drunk. Tags: dancing, gossips, sam

Sluts meet was 'ok', I've gone off The Constitution though, it has a nice outdoors but now it's autumn I don't like the pub's inside! Club Slut was wonderfull and very enjoyable, it's a big shame that it was the last night :-( I was sociable for the whole night and didn't dance at all!!! Went to the Sluts meet on Thursday, was nice and friendly in a pub I hadn't been to before (Lock Tavern (or something) in Camden). We filled a portion of the beer garden with a tight crowd of black clad yumminess. I went to Club Slut at Gossips afterwards, and didn't dance at all - I arrived as they were on the EBM set, and after that the music was too random electrclash which I didn't bother to dance to... though I would have, if I wasn't socializing. Nice people were in Gossips as usual, and it's not hard in such a small club on a mid-week night to get to know nearly everyone! Some of them nearly got into trouble by tickling Sarah (the manager's beautiful girlfriend, and respected Voofy's sister)... made my way home when the club closed some time around 3am. Chatted to a friendly woman on the bus, called Sophia, and caused her to miss her stop, so walked her the relatively short distance from London Bridge to Liverpool Street, where she was due to meet an ex boyfriend. Got back home Friday morning some time after deciding to walk from Lewisham to Lee, rather than continue on the bus to Lee Green and walk the shorter distance from there. I'm really getting to love and adore night time London, just walking! Sophia and I stopped on London Bridge and admired the beautiful view from there, and pointed out two of the locations where we'd been to boat parties! After walking her home, I walked back to London Bridge to catch a bus to Lewisham, and stopped as usual outside London Bridge Building Number 1, a skyscraper which always has a black security guard in it's lobby, pacing up and down. Last time I was waiting here, I saw him go down the escalatar, and then keep fit/stay awake by jogging up the escalater the wrong way... he head bobbed up and down at ground level for a few minutes! Then, some manager-types left a meeting room, and he abruptly stopped (for fear of looking silly or mad...) and disappeared down to the next floor down. Fun people... the night time city. I've got a new phone, it is recharging and being activated, receiving SIM updates. Same number. Also, Club Slut @ Gossips on Thurs night was great, fantastic EBM set to which I danced muchly, but was slightly out of practice. Thanks to Voofy & Reagan for keeping a few of us company in their house afterwards, too, was nice to sit and be sociable. I wont be at the Furmeet today. OK I'm back as of a few hours ago... Here are the last 5 days in brief: Thurs: (wrote it up already on my journal): Sluts meet was great, good people. Went clubbing. Fantastic fun, nice quiet night @ Gossips. Slept a few hours at home before heading out on Fri. Fri night: Coffee meet, great people turned up, it was nice. Then went to Tenebrae at Gossips, loved the night and the company. Thanks everyone :-) and thanks to Eszter for keeping me company towards the end of the night too, it was cool you introduced yourself, I recognized you from Slimes. 2 guests stayed over at my house afterwards, in my bed, I stayed up. Sat: After seeing guests off, I got some hours sleep, then got up to go to Slimes. I'd told a few people I'd be there, including a few who rarely go, so despite being tired I went. I had an excellent night, met some people (was more sociable than normal). Danced an insane amount, and managed to soak all of my clothes and self in sweat, wiping sweat off my forehead (for example) didn't work, because my hands were as wet as my face. Met the enthralling Empale, a very nice woman with my favorite hair! Saw DJ Psyche wandering around. Sun & Mon: Afterwards I went to friends house (luckily I had some fresh clothes on me - I'm in the habit of taking a change of clothes when I go to Slimes), he's been asking me to visit for ages, and Ia'Kat was going there after Slimes too, so it seemed like a perfect chance to go. And it was... haven't seen orinotta (apart from in meets in pubs) for ages, was nice. Also, a very nice surprise was that Footpad was there! Which always makes for happiness :-) Warm thoughts to Shruiken too, she made sure I wasn't affection deprived whenever I wasn't being honored by the presence of Ia'Kat, Footpad, Orin, etc. I'm glowing a bit from all the affection and nice people over the last 5 days or so actually! Went to a one off event at Gossips last night, which some have called Club Impromptu because it was only decided on on Tuesday, therefore no promotion... so was quiet. Which was cool, 'cos I got whirl around the dancefloor on my own, or with a maximum of 3 others from time to time. I spent some extra time in the intelligent company of Rataxis and DJ Psyche, which is something I should do more often. It closed early, 2:30 or so, and I wondered around London for a bit before coming home. I am presently being made happy and snuggly by a lovely large plushie cat... I've promised to look after him, and I'm told that he's promised to look after me too :-) Sluts meet was good, didn't talk to many people except a few stars. Including Ia'Kat! Yay! Hopefully I'll see him more at some point over the next few days, whilst he's down. I'm working on rather quite a lot of exciting projects at the moment... music, web pages and social stuff. Firstly, it's still snowing since the blizzard yesterday. Secondly, I have just listened to Bat Out Of Hell 2 by Meatloaf several times, and I haven't finished with it yet! Rarrr, rock on! Thirdly, Friday night... I decided to go to Tenebrae for a change, @ Gossips, I have only been there once before thought I'd give it another try. I met friends in Starbucks beforehand, and we got there sometime before 11. But... I found it quite boring! I owe a big hugs to the company I was with... Felis, Toby, BarbedWireKiss, guy with long black hair[1], beautiful girl[2], who made the night worthwhile with nice, random and inconsequential light talk... [1][2] This does not narrow down or allow anyone to figure out who these people actually are, and I've forgotten their names, but they know who they are. I danced moped to trad goth for an hour, then danced enthusiastically to the bleepy set (opening with 'Call the ships to port' by Covenant, rar!) for half an hour, but I so so so wanted to be in Slimelight but it wasn't Saturday yet and I wanted to be sociable. I left before the club closed to make sure that Felis got on the correct bus (she can look after herself, I know, but there's no harm in watching out for your friends), and got a bus to Catford because to get to Lewisham required me going to Trafalgar Square, and I fancied a walk. From Catford I walked the few miles to where I live, and thoroughly enjoyed the cascading, beautiful and thick fluffy snow that piled up on my leather jacket. Everything was beautiful :-) Then I bought a big 200g bar of cadbury's chocolate at a 24hr garage and munched it all as I walked. That's it. I wont be going to Slimelight tomorrow, I don't think, but then again the temptation! To lose myself in trance, mind calm and robot-icism for hours upon hours under a power electronic dance music, meditation and demonsearching beauty, the SlimelightVexen experience is hard to resist sometimes, if you're Vexen... I always come out of multiple hours of dancing there with inspiration, clarity and happy energy. Oh... I was on TV last night, I got a whole ton of emails from people who recognized me, a load of guestbook entries, it was a repeat of something I done a few years ago, I didn't know it was on until people said they saw me.
