Sluts meet was 'ok', I've gone off The Constitution though, it has a nice outdoors but now it's autumn I don't like the pub's inside!

Club Slut was wonderfull and very enjoyable, it's a big shame that it was the last night :-( I was sociable for the whole night and didn't dance at all!!!

... randomly and surprisingly I'm going on a 4-day random "ramble", for which I need to hurredly pack some clothes, and I'll be offline until Monday afternoon/evening. Will set off tomorrow at 11am or something to meet friend.

Stuff:

I'm up to 1 character per second average speed in Morse, with only a few characters that I consistently get wrong.

Learning Czech: No progress... (but I did revise some Cantonese and spoke a ton of it to surprised friends at college...)

Cisco: 1/2 way through the second quarter... am looking to complete it in 2/3 weeks.

Government: My psycometric tests are in 2 weeks, and should be the last hurdle to jump before starting full time training. (But I'm not holding my breath, I kind-of expect more hurdles & interviews & then some final physicals!)

Thursday was good, had a nice relaxing wander around Camden, went to Kentish Town Library (renewed a book and got another one). Met a friend late afternoon and I acted as a sounding board for her thoughts on her current longterm relationship. (Which is something I was proud to do & was why I met her...).

Went to the Sluts meet, there were tons of people there! Had a good time. Amusingly (and this is typical of the London goth sluts insanity) when Clive arrived, there was spontaneous cheering, which then turned into clapping and congratulations. Clive, chuffed at his welcoming, said, "My job here is done..." and made as if to leave again :p Or someone said that that's what Clive should do, I forget.

Orinoco turned up relatively early (for an otter) and was good for people to meet him (as I name-drop him quite frequently, yet many have not actually met him).

I had used some safety pins to fix my skinnyfit shirt to my fake leather jeans, so that I wouldn't have to keep tucking it in all day... but one of the safety pins disappeared. Inside my trousers. After some scary moments, I realized it had made it's way down to my knee (I'll leave the exact details of those 'scary moments' to your imagination...)... and it then disappeared forever.

I missed Snow_Leapord, who left the meet before I arrived.

Yikes, this is a really boring update. I'm sorry! You should come to the Sluts meets, instead of merely reading about them, then, shouldn't you!

Am starting a Cisco (computer & networking engineering) course at a college from the 30th of this month... it's a 26 week course, but I'm fairly confident I can do it in 10weeks due to existing knowledge.

Also, I have an interview with some military people on the 25th... this is where Vexen attempts to complete computing course *before* the government sends him on 2 month training somewhere in the UK

Am going to get a few hours sleep then get up for the Sluts meet...

In the 30 minutes between 02:02 and 02:32 I jogged 3.2 miles... which works out as 9 minutes 23seconds per mile over three miles. My aim is, tomorrow, to do 2 miles in 16 minutes.

I didn't go to Sluts meet today, I slept in late and decided to instead cook a large quantity of rice, chicken, onion, herbs and oysters, drink coffee and play Warcraft 3. I'm completely nocturnal at the moment.

I'm reading a book on Lenin, Stalin, Hitler and other dictatorships between 1918-1945. The blurb on the back states that in the early 1920s most of Europe's 28 states could be described as parliamentary democracies, but by 1941 only 5 remained intact. By 1938 16 of them had succombed to dictatorships!

Fascinating period of history... it was a world of faulty idealism! One which the USA government hasn't managed to emerge from yet!

Another book I'm reading is Josephus' 'The Jewish War', first century history... another generally interesting period of history. Josephus made many sensible choices in his life, and the way people tend to rise and follow any old leader seems to be just as prevalent 2000 years ago as it is now... mindless sheep, that's what people are!

I love feeling fit, strong and intelligent! I just wish I was as fit as my role models (say, a rather robust demon from hell...), or as useful/productive/relentless as Nietzsche or any of the greats of history. Endlessly qualified people! I want to be like them!

There was arkady, felishumanus, BarbedWireKiss, Fluffy Mark, Sheridan, cyberpunkgrrl, Avalon, Darklyng, Wizard, perverse_idol, Blue Helen and some people who I didn't actually talk to but should have said hi to including glitchdrei and many others who I know but whose names I've forgotten, and probably at least one or two I hadn't seen before. Well there were nearly 30 people and I only managed to name 10 of them... oh, Jude, the tiny toddler cyber goth!

We had bubble blowing, tree climbing, koi fire playing, air propelled rockets, frizbees, food, lots of alcohol... and it seemed like the police kept going past in various modes of transport. 1 police car was going up and down, also, 2 police motorcycles, and a police van full of policemen.

Then it got silly, and when the police pogostickers went past I just had to hail them and we took photos of me bouncing around pogosticks with the police. I thought about doing the same with the police unicyclist, but actually because they hadn't scared us off the police must have called the US Military, because they dropped a sattelite guided bomb on us. Luckily it didn't detonate! Ha!

Went to a one off event at Gossips last night, which some have called Club Impromptu because it was only decided on on Tuesday, therefore no promotion... so was quiet. Which was cool, 'cos I got whirl around the dancefloor on my own, or with a maximum of 3 others from time to time. I spent some extra time in the intelligent company of Rataxis and DJ Psyche, which is something I should do more often. It closed early, 2:30 or so, and I wondered around London for a bit before coming home.

I am presently being made happy and snuggly by a lovely large plushie cat... I've promised to look after him, and I'm told that he's promised to look after me too :-)

Sluts meet was good, didn't talk to many people except a few stars. Including Ia'Kat! Yay! Hopefully I'll see him more at some point over the next few days, whilst he's down.

I'm working on rather quite a lot of exciting projects at the moment... music, web pages and social stuff. But I have to go so sleep soon because I'm going to be up most of tomorrow night too!
