Done some negligable exercises... 60 situp, 28 pressup, 20 squats

Also took time to scrub walls, cupboards, floor.

Am now looking forward to a hot melty shower :-)

Do slow ones! Slow ones are great. 30 seconds down on a pressup, then hold it for a few seconds, then 30 seconds up, and don't cheat - great stuff for building morale, according to my Systema instructor :o) Oh, another one (this is horrid) is to do pressups with breathing. Do a number (5 is good) breathing _out_ going down and _in_ going up, then do another set in reverse, breathing in going down and out going up. Then, straight away, do another set _without breathing at all_. Just pump them out with empty lungs. That really kills, especially when your body starts doing involuntary convulsions from lack of oxygen - literally, your muscles start throwing you about to force you to take a breath :o)

Your place must be immaculate! :) It's nice to have energy to spare, isn't it? ;)

Wooden floor... all fluff from clothes (which are all black), especially socks, shows up! As does all dark brown hair... it needs sweeping daily! But ya... I love excess energy!

It must be a light colored wood. We have oak hardwood floors (the older, really good/thick REAL wood floors). We refinished them when we bought the house; they're the natural light oak color. Right -- they show just about everything... weekly, if not daily cleaning. I think we need more multi-colored rugs. :) The bedrooms and office have carpeting, but it's CREAM color. Which means, with a mechanic around, it's not really cream! I hate 'em. We need either new carpet or NO carpet 'cause I'm tired of cleaning up the grease spots all the time. >:[ Sounds like a good summer project, actually. ;)

So where do you get all this energy from, or is just one of those perks of youth? :)
