Problems with Heaven

Problems with Heaven: Free Will and Evil

You say "suddenly" but there is nothing "sudden" about the rapture described in the bible. Dead corpses come to life (not just spirits or souls), re-animate themselves, crawl out of their graves, and float into the sky along with all others who are saved. They all float upwards towards Jesus who is in the sky, (I'm guessing that if Jesus appears above Australia, everyone in Europe will float around the whole globe or tunnel through it, and vica-versa). You say "blink of an eye" but it sounds like something that could take a while!

And if that happened, I would probably start believing in afterlife, and maybe start believing in Mithraism or some of the ancient religions that invented the idea of the rapture of the dead into the Sun (or Sun God, of course).

blink your eye.. How fast was that! that is how fast it will happen he says in plain text. and you said before God is all powerful he can do anything correct? Please Consider the, What if im wrong question.

Suddenly and is POOF Instantly ect... not a long drawn out process you seem to be pulling out of this. a Blink is a Blink and pretty darn fast to.

OK, now you're just making stuff up... where in the Bible does it say rapture will happen in a blink of an eye? The description of it is the one I've given... what religion are you? I thought you were using the Bible as your guide, I guess not.

OK, now you're just making stuff up... where in the Bible does it say rapture will happen in a blink of an eye? The description of it is the one I've given... what religion are you? I thought you were using the Bible as your guide, I guess not. Not made up at all and here is my proof KJV I Corinthians 15:52 "Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." Now, these teachings you won’t find anywhere but Paul. Nowhere has it ever hinted that there’s ever going to be a day when living people are suddenly going to be translated. "Behold I show you another mystery,..." another secret. "We (that is believers) shall not all sleep (or die), but...", we have to be what?..."Changed" "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye," in the split second of an eyelash, (at) "...the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead in Christ" Those who have been part and parcel now of the Body of Christ. Not the Old Testament saints. Daniel says he has to wait. But now, it’s the Church Age saints. These who are in the body. "At the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we... Paul says (and he expected to be alive) ...shall be changed." In other words, when the trumpet sounds, and if we’re living – and I think we will be, the dead in Christ will rise first and then we will suddenly take flight and we will go up with him.
