Re: Alter

Perhaps you mean "deity"? Worshipping the xian devil??? You do make us laugh!!!! Lack the capacity to feel??? Another blast of laughter! Oh, we feel, all right. We feel more than the insensitive clods who muddle through life or live in fear of the wrathful, hate-filled Jehovah. The beauty of Satanism is that we can discharge our emotions without fear. If I hate someone, I can curse them without any fear whatsoever. If I love someone, I can feel endless compassion for them if they're in any trouble not of their making. Satan understands our humanity and judges not.

So, please, use your brain a bit beforte making silly assertions.

I have been a member of the Church of Satan for a decade, and I can assure you that Satanism is nothing to do with worshipping the Christian devil. Christians believe in Christian mythology; you have to be a Christian and subscribe to Christian mythology, in order to worship elements of Christian mythology. Such people are "Christian devil worshippers" and are very few in number.

This has come up a few times, so that I wrote a page stating clearly that "Satanism" is not Christian. The biggest clue is that "Satanism" and "Christianity" are spelt completely differently, so its a fair bet that the words mean different things.

"Christianity and Satanism are Completey Different Religion" by Vexen Crabtree (2005)

If Satanism was really Christian, then, Satanism would be spelt "Christianity". It's not. It's a different, atheistic, religion, which has nothing to do with Christianity.
