A Lifetime's Work

There is so much more effort, attention and care that can be put on to everything that is written. I want to improve the accuracy and comprehensiveness of nearly every page on my websites, yet there are still more page that need to be completely rewritten. I have loads of stuff where argumentativeness has crossed the line into ignorance or immaturity.

It is always a compromise between continuing to write one page and making it bigger, yet still keeping it readable in a web session, which is what I aim for most my pages to be.

I need to take a few months out in the British Library, and spend half a day on every page I have, therefore making good progress on 180 pages. I need a job that is less intrusive on study (I've spent all but 11 weeks this year away from home!)

I have carved out more than a lifetime's future work for myself, which is good. Something to do, before I die!

I Know you currently prefer the medium of the web but if you were to take your writings and re-configure them in to a book you could get paid for writing and hence have time to write your site (The re-configuring for book form should take significantly less time than the original web formats). Also when you have a book out the world takes you more seriously leading to more interest in what you have written from other media sources possibly leading to more money to fund more writing time.

Just a thought.
