A List of Religions in one Easily Compare-able Table

A new page! "A List of Some Religions and Belief Systems".

There is loads more I am going to add, including many more smaller religions (at the moment the only small ones are those found in the UK), denominations of the major religions, cults and historical religions.

you forgot somthing

you suck you forgot Catholicism or just catholic

Re: you forgot somthing

Christianity covers Catholicism (a denomination of Christianity) in the same way it covers Protestantism (another denomination). Likewise, "Islam" covers both Shi'ite and Sunni denominations.

Would you consider adding my religion? I'm Kuramic, its a previously dead relgion originating in Africa. I can email you indepth information if you'd like.

I will consider it - what I need most of all is refeencable statements. So, I can put a page up about it if I have academic sources so other people know where to look in order to verify what I'm saying. Most importantly: Where is the evidence that what you will tell me is truly what the dead religion of Kuramic stood for?

Sir, are the Romani or Gypsies considered a religion?

Fact-check the section 'Hindutva' under 'Hinduism' page

Firstly, the incident of killing a man based on rumors that he ate beef it totally unfortunate and needs to be condemned.

However, there is more to the story than 'violent Hindutva'. The story needs to be seen in perspective of "cows as pets" and "cows as prized possession". I again concede that none of these perspectives justify the lynching of a man, I am just saying looking it just though religious angle is not completely correct. The below article does decent job of presenting the perspective that I am talking about:

That said, India is a large country and has second largest population in the world. In such a large country, the media blows the incident of killing a single Muslim (which is of course wrong) out of proportion w.r.t many incidents where Hindus are lynched by Muslim mob. When Hindus are persecuted, it finds an entry in corner of a page 6 or 7 or 8 and a Muslim's killing grabs international headline. Both are crimes and both should find equal coverage by media.

And cattle is definitely a sensitive issue in India, not just because cows are revered in Hinduism, but cattle are assets of common villagers in India. You can see how cattle smugglers murder the opposing people in India and compare how these incidents are covered by local and international media in proportion to the incident that you mentioned in Hindutva section.

All I ask is, considering to rewriting the section

Christadelphians don't believe you got to heaven or hell they don't believe there is a after life they believe that you did and you are asleep until the kingdom comes and you are raised from the dead to be judged.
