Coffee and chocolate are an age-approved combination... but... in the kitchen of Vexen it just took on a new twist.

I ran downstairs to make a coffee and realized at the last moment that there was no milk. Damn. In this situation I normally just go without milk and add some cold water (to cool the coffee down like milk would). But I realized I had some Frijj Thick Chocolate Milkshake in the fridge. Voila.

I thought it was going to not-work, but it worked! The result was a very sweet coffee though, got to remember next time not to add suger if I'm going to do that. I can hardly taste the chocolate milk shake though... maybe I should add more next time!

I rarely buy the non-chocolate ones, but perhaps I'll try that one day!

yum! usually if i make coffee, i use a spoon of coffee into the cup, then add a spoon of drinking chocolate and two or three sugars. i never add milk, as even though its the norm, the idea of adding cold milk to hot water and then drinking it seems incredibly bizarre!

Someone else who likes lots of sugar :-)

Must admit, as someone who has an interesting genetic inability to handle any milk-products, I can only look forward to the day when genetic modification brings to me the unique pleasure of coffee-beans that also contain Theobromine, or, alternatively, caffeine-containing cocoa-beans.

Screw Greenpeace, the Soil-Association and other such luddites! Bring on the GMOs, and their extra-strength, hypercaffeinated chocolate!!

Poor you!

Yeah... GM is the way forward! I intentionally don't buy "organic" food because I fear that such paranoia is going to doom the Human race!
